Our verdictExciting, but first-generation. If you want a foldable today and don't need iOS, the Galaxy Z Fold8 costs about AED 1,300 less with a telephoto camera.
Best for: Early adopters who read and multitask on their phone a lot.
Pros and cons
Why buy it
- Apple's first foldable, with iOS polish
- Matte nano-texture layer reduces glare and crease visibility
- Very good battery for a foldable
Think twice if…
- AED 3,000 more than the 18 Pro Max
- No telephoto camera
- First-generation product: repairs and accessories still unknown
